Intermediate A Mathematics
Summer Solutions Intermediate A is for students who have completed 5th Grade.
Children leaving 5th Grade should be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide multi-digit whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; work with place value and rounding; read and interpret charts and graphs; perform conversions of measurements; and understand volume. Additional skills in the workbook include working with prime factorization, factors and multiples; reading and writing decimals; understanding ratio; and calculating perimeter, volume, and area of triangles and parallelograms. 30 lessons of mixed review over a 10-week period provide ongoing practice that ensures retention of the important math skills and concepts covered in 5th Grade. By completing just one lesson three days per week, students enter 6th Grade ready to learn new material right away.
